The two photos below were taken at the same time with a Horse Blinder installed on one side of the tractor.

Factory Lighting Installation

(This image is from the operator's seat, looking to the left.)

Here is what you see with the OEM installation of the ROPS mounted work lights.  Look familiar?  The only way to see anything past the light is to lean away or block the glare with one of your hands, removing it from the tractor controls.  All of this can distract your attention from your work and cause mistakes and accidents.

Artillian Horse Blinder Added

(This image is from the operator's seat, looking to the right.)

This is what you see with the Artillian Horse Blinders installed.  Notice that the camera was even able to pick up the grassy background in a night time photo.

With the Horse Blinders installed, your hands stay on the tractor and your attention stays on your work.

Now let's look at the range of coverage of the Horse Blinders
Viewed from an approximate 30 degree angle (the far light is shrouded and not glaring) Viewed from an approximate 60 degree angle (both lights are visible).  This means that the shrouds are only blocking the light in the zone of the operator.  You still get the full effectiveness of the lights in all other areas.
More Details

The Artillian Horse Blinders are made from a durable polymer that resists sun fading and remains flexible in a wide range of temperatures.

Installation instructions are included, but basically just unbolt your work light (single nut) and remove the light.  Place a Horse Blinder over the existing mounting stud, then reinstall your light.  The whole process takes minutes.

The Artillian Horse Blinders are designed for the Auxiliary Work Lights offered by John Deere but will fit any lights of similar size and single post mounting style. They have a 5-1/2" inside diameter, and can easily flex to conform to the shape of other housings.

Finally, here are a couple of short video clips demonstrating the Horse Blinders in real time (formerly called Artillian Glare Shrouds).

This shows them in practical use.  Notice how the light stops at the operator's shoulders and doesn't reach his face.

Thanks for looking!
